Over the years we have edited thousands of video projects. Through that experience we have developed a 3 step video production and video editing process. We use this process for most of our content creation services and workflows. From phase one to three you will be informed, know what is going on every step of the way, and will be met with a 5 star video product at the end of the process. 

Discovery

Our production crew has developed a custom video editing discovery process over the years. We will work hand in hand with you to discover the video that you would like produced. 

Planning

After we discover what kind of video you would like produced we will then plan a storyboard, write a script if necessary, and record a voice over if the video needs one. These are all of the production steps that go into the backend of post production video planning and editing! 

Editing

After we have completed the planning stage of the video edit, we then complete your video edit as fast as we can. If we discovered and planned well enough, the video edit will come out right the first time. Just in case it does not, we allow for 2 rounds of revisions of edits on the video.

When choosing the video editing package that you need, take into consideration how much video content you need to produce versus how much video content you are currently producing. 

I always tell clients that you should start out with a smaller package if you are newer to the content creation process or if you are just starting out with your small business.

However if you are an established business with sales and revenue coming in or you are an established social media influencer that needs a higher volume of video, then we advise you go with the larger video editing packages. This way you get more videos and segmented pieces of media for your investment.

Video editing ranges anywhere from $25 – $250 an hour. The price of the hourly video editing rate is subjective to the level of video production the video editor is working on. 

 

For basic YouTube videos, social media reels, or short offer videos the rates are $25 to $75.

 

As you get into the more advanced editing practices that included 4k footage, you will require larger processing units and special programs for after effects that drive up the cost of video editing. This is when the price goes up to well over $100 an hour.
